Job Description
The successful candidate must demonstrate high-level expertise in urban design, embedded at the core of their education, teaching, and research or research-creation activities. Consideration will be given to areas related to urban conception, the analysis and transformation of built and landscape environments, the social and environmental dynamics of cities, and the relationships between architecture, urbanism, and landscape.
Particular attention will be paid to approaches that mobilize urban analysis methods, including the use of digital tools (mapping, GIS, modelling, simulation, spatial analysis), as well as to practices that integrate human and built ecosystems as essential components of the contemporary urban project.
Achievements in teaching, research, or research-creation must demonstrate a significant impact in the field of urban design. The selected candidate will teach courses and design studios at all three cycles, supervise essays and final projects in architecture and urban design, actively contribute to the development and visibility of the Master’s program in Urban Design and the PhD program in Architecture, conduct research or research-creation activities, and participate in program updates. They will play an active role in the School’s life, operations, and outreach.

- Training in urban design, urbanism, or landscape architecture;
